Scott Phillips

Managing Partner

Scott is the Managing Partner of RPS Capital, and primarily responsible for deal sourcing, transaction execution, and portfolio management.

Scott has extensive investing experience. Prior to the establishment of RPS Capital, Scott was a Vice President at Redstone Investments where his responsibilities included investment analysis, transaction execution, and portfolio management. Throughout his real estate career, he has led the acquisition of over $275MM of real estate and loans collateralized by vacant land, retail, industrial, office, multifamily, hotel, mixed-use, and special purpose real estate. Scott has seen success in restructuring debt assets through complex workouts and negotiations and through obtaining title and repositioning real estate through a value added strategy.

Scott earned his B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder, Certified Commercial Investment Member, and Licensed Florida Real Estate Broker. Scott resides in Tampa, FL with his wife, Rachel, and their four children. He enjoys playing golf, spending time with family, and watching Florida Gator football.

Travis Fulford

Senior Vice President

Travis is a Senior Vice President at RPS Capital, and responsible for supporting the firm’s real estate investment analysis, transaction execution, and business management activities. Prior to joining the team, Travis was the Chief Executive Officer at All Florida Weatherproofing and Construction Inc where his responsibilities included overseeing daily operations of the company, building and maintaining customer relationships, and project management.

Travis earned his B.S. degree in Food and Resource Economics at the University of Florida. He and his wife, Meredith, reside in Tampa, FL, and enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Julie Coppedge

Chief Marketing Officer

Julie Coppedge is the Chief Marketing Officer at RPS Capital, and responsible for supporting the firm’s growth, developing a marketing strategy, and implementing advertising campaigns. Prior to joining the RPS team, Julie was the founder, Chief Marketing Officer, and Editor for a film editing and production company, TGS, where she specialized in content creation, conference and event filming, and documentary filming/editing. Before TGS, Julie was the Event Coordinator and Executive Assistant of Westside Association Management in Los Angeles, CA, which involved overseeing, planning, organizing, and executing corporate events, as well as weekly educational events and meetings for clients, including Westside Urban Forum, Association for Corporate Growth, Los Angeles Venture Association, and Commercial Finance Conference of California.

Julie earned her BA from Furman University. She and her husband Matt, live in Atlanta, GA, with their two children and adorable dog.

Matthew Baird

Senior Analyst

Matt is an Analyst at RPS Capital, and responsible for supporting the firm's acquisition, development, and asset management activities. Prior to joining the team full-time, Matt was an Analyst Intern at RPS Capital.

Matt earned a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of South Florida. He resides in Tampa, FL.

Roy Baradas

Assistant Bookkeeper

Roy is an Assistant Bookkeeper Financial and Administrative Associate at RPS Capital, and responsible for supporting the firm's financial systems and records, property tenant and vendor compliance monitoring, and back-office productivity support. Prior to joining the team, Roy was a Loan Originator at ARB Call Facilities where his responsibilities included loan process execution, pre-underwriting engagements, assessments, and documentations.

Roy earned his B.A. degree in Mass Communications and Marketing Management from the University of Saint La Salle.
